Cox Smith professional staff receive highly competitive salaries and benefits. The firm's management carefully considers each professional's total contribution and recognizes team effort as well as individual achievement. Bonus considerations are based more heavily on merit, rather than tenure. We believe this progressive policy assures fairly distributed rewards to all those who work at Cox Smith.
The firm formally reviews each professional's performance and compensation annually. Professionals are given the opportunity to evaluate themselves and to also receive input regarding their performance from lawyers and supervisors with whom they have worked during the past year. To supplement these reviews, lawyers and supervisors also provide daily guidance to all professional staff.
Cox Smith offers a competitive benefits package that includes, among other benefits, a 401(k) contribution of no less than 3%, payment of group life and disability insurance premiums, access to group major medical coverage, Section 125 Cafeteria Plan allowing payment of certain expenses on a pre-tax basis, downtown paid parking and payment of association dues, professional meetings, and expenses related to Continued Legal Education (CLE) courses. |
