Tom Forbes is a graduate of Southwestern University and Baylor University School of Law. His practice is focused on government affairs and regulatory issues. He represents clients before state and federal regulatory agencies, the Texas Legislature, the U.S. Congress, the Federal Executive Branch, and other state governments.

Tom’s practice has centered on advising clients on matters before regulatory agencies and legislative bodies. He has represented major corporations, professional societies, major league sports, and both foreign and state governments. Forbes’ practice includes advice, strategy development and advocacy.

Mr. Forbes is active in his community and profession. He is a Life Fellow of both the Texas Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation, and has served on numerous bar association committees and as a leader of community volunteer efforts such as Leadership Austin, The Children’s Advocacy Center and higher education boards.
